Raja Zafar ul Haq (Senior PML-N Leader): I attended all proceedings in the cases filed against former Prime Minister Mian Nawaz Sharif by NAB. At every date of hearing Nawaz Sharif asked grounds on the basis NAB filed such a fake Avenfield apartment reference against him but NAB failed to provide any proper reasons. Later, he came to know that judges were appointed to keep him in false cases. But, today's judgment from the High Court is a new beginning of justice for the Sharif family. He appreciated the judges of the Islamabad High Court for dispensing justice in the case.

Dr Nisar Ahmad Cheema (Member National Assembly) There is two aspects of this case. Firstly, by the grace of Almighty Allah, at last the truth has won. The other aspect is that our governance system is so futile that we can blame and defame anyone when we want. If anyone blames someone, it's the duty of the complainant to subjugate the defendant. Otherwise, if the complainant isn't providing any supported evidence and not properly cooperating, they should be charged with the offense. There is a negative system in our country that any person can blame and defame anyone without any real grounds. The verdict will leave positive effects on Pakistani politics. The previous PTI government along with NAB held the Sharif in concocted cases, in order to defame them in front of the public. But, this judgment has defamed them that they made these false cases against the Sharif family and they should be punished for the defamation act. A law should be made in the assembly that anyone defaming anyone without any grounds should be punished with strict punishments, so that such practices are neglected in the future.
