A report by India Persecution Tracker has exposed hate crimes by Hindu extremists on religious grounds.

According to India Persecution Tracker report, Hindu extremists killed thirteen Muslims in eight Indian states in the first four months of this year.

The report noted that Muslims in India face eviction, forced migration and deprivation of basic civil rights.

It recalled that Muslims have been arrested even for performing religious rituals.

The report states that  Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Indian Home Minister, and BJP chief ministers continue to deliver hate-filled speeches targeting Muslims.
