
The Taliban regime in Afghanistan has devised a plan to confiscate the residential properties of the common people.
According to an Afghan media channel "Afghanistan International", a new law has been implemented to confiscate and resell the residential land and properties once they are declared government-owned.
Under this law, the Afghan Taliban regime will declare previous ownership rights null and void, and resell the land to citizens. The Afghan Taliban regime will declare residential land as government land and resell it to citizens.
After stripping away political and economic freedoms, the regime has now legalized the seizure of private property. This legislation grants the Taliban regime the authority to take over existing residential settlements and housing schemes.
The Afghan Taliban regime has already confiscated thousands of acres of private land in various regions by registering them as state property.
According to experts, the primary purpose of this law is to seize the assets of ordinary Afghan citizens to provide patronage to loyal fighters and Taliban commanders.
