India has suffered another setback on the international stage with the destruction of one of its ships near the Strait of Hormuz.
According to the international news agency Reuters, the Indian-flagged vessel Haji Ali, en route to the United Arab Emirates, was destroyed in the attack and lost at sea.
The news agency reported that India has so far been unable to take decisive action or identify the forces responsible for the attack.
The Indian Ministry of External Affairs has limited its response to issuing a condemnation of the incident.
Following the US-Iran conflict, two other Indian-flagged ships have also been targeted in the Strait of Hormuz.
Meanwhile, senior Indian analyst Sushant Singh sharply criticized the Modi government, stating that the so-called strong leadership has failed to prevent these attacks and has relied solely on verbal condemnations.
