Dr. Yasmin Rashid (Minister for Health, Punjab): It was the vision of Prime Minister Imran Khan that has been materialized since the PTI took over the reins of Pakistan. The novelistic impact of the Naya Pakistan Health Insurance program is evident as around 1.2 million underprivileged families were provided with Health Insurance cards in Rajanpur, Punjab. Till 2021, around 8.5 million needy families have been provided with health insurance cards. Prime Minister Imran Khan has decided to expand this project across Punjab that will target 30 million eligible families in the recent development.  It is the manifesto of PTI that the underprivileged segments of society should be provided with basic facilities and it is being materialized efficiently. 

Dr. Waseem Khawaja (Health Expert): The PTI-led government should be lauded for their commendable social protection initiative. The Naya Pakistan Health Insurance Program will enable the underprivileged segments of society in acquiring quality healthcare services without any charge. It is the fundamental right of every individual to be provided with health security by the government. The poor sections of Pakistani society cannot afford even basic healthcare facilities. This initiative of Prime Minister Imran Khan will help provide the deprived segments of society with the basic amenities of life. The death toll will reduce and it will help Pakistan to move upward in the category of developed countries. The public and private partnership will boost the reach of this program from provincial level to across the country.

Brig. (Retd.) Said Nazir (Defense Analyst): It is the responsibility of OIC to help Afghan people in averting the impending humanitarian crisis in the war torn country. Afghanistan is one of the founding members of the OIC and now it is high time that Muslim Ummah repays them. Pakistan is the only country that has foreseen that peace and stability in Afghanistan will ensure regional stability. The Afghan civilization is deeply entrenched and connected with the Middle Eastern and South Asian civilizations. The resurrection of Afghanistan will increase the connectivity within the region. Pakistan has taken the right decision at the right time by offering OIC members to host an extraordinary session to discuss the plight of the Afghan people. This session will provide a platform to global and regional powers to interact with the Taliban government. Moreover, it will pave the way for the Taliban government to acquire de jure recognition at international level. 

Dr. Zahid Anwar Khan (Afghan Affairs Expert): The upcoming extra ordinary session of OIC is an important event that will have direct implications on the future of war-torn Afghanistan. It is a golden opportunity for Pakistan to project and serve national interest. Pakistan has explicitly communicated its stance on the Afghan issue and due to its effort the international community is discussing the Afghan issue. This issue is of regional importance and the regional powers should play a constructive role in promoting peace in the area. The incumbent Taliban government is facing havocs of economic turmoil that is impeding the establishment of law and order in Afghanistan. The inferences and decisions from the upcoming OIC session will have an impinging influence over the stance of the international community on the Afghan issue. Moreover, it is a golden chance for Afghanistan to urge the international community to provide formal recognition.
