May 05, 2021

Jamshed Iqbal Cheema (Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Food Security): The incumbent government has taken appreciable steps to improve the agriculture sector. The government is focusing on research based interventions. It is need of the hour to slow down the rural to urban migration rate and provide basic necessities of life in rural areas and give them Job opportunities.  A multi-pronged strategy is underway to improve the agro-based economy. Pakistan is an agriculture country and a large portion of population depends on the farming. Agriculture and construction is the back bone of our economy. We have great potential of profit in agriculture sector. The incumbent government has come with robust policies and interventions to improve agro-based industry. The outdated system of agriculture and irrigation needs to be improved in order to get maximum benefit. Pakistan is blessed with enabling environment for crops, fertile lands and man- power.

Lieutenant General, Retired, Naeem Khalid Lodhi (Defense Analyst): It is appreciable that the largest troops contribution in UN peace keeping missions is from Pakistan. Pakistan is proud of its security force, which are among the best armies in the world. Pakistan Army is popular for its professionalism at the international front. Our enemies are envious of Pakistan Army's reputation. Pakistan army is the true representative of the country. Pakistan Army takes its responsibilities very seriously. Our security forces do not compromise on discipline, physical fitness and professional commitment.  Pakistan’s armed forces are capable enough to give befitting response to any aggression by India.

Dr. Farooq Hasnat (Expert on International Relations): Pakistan has always endorsed every initiative taken for regional peace and stability. The token of appreciation from a UN agency is highly appreciable. Pakistan Army is among the best armies in the world. Pakistan Army does not compromise on professionalism and patriotism. Working in a conflict zone requires great skill.  It is need of the hour to show our professionalism and peacemaking efforts to the world.
