Armed resistance against the Afghan Taliban has reportedly intensified as thousands of young Afghans have stood up against the regime.
According to the National Resistance Front, over 2,000 young people from Badakhshan, Balkh, Panjshir and other areas have joined resistance organizations.
The group also claimed that Badakhshan is returning to the hands of the true sons of the homeland.
Meanwhile, Afghan journalist Usman Bazgar claimed that the Front has captured a Taliban checkpoint in Zebak district of Badakhshan Province.
Criticizing the Afghan Taliban, former Afghan diplomat Fayaz Ghiasi said freedom has been suppressed in Afghanistan. He said northern and northeastern provinces, including Badakhshan, would be liberated from Taliban control.
