In Afghanistan, armed resistance against the Taliban regime has intensified with clashes reported in different districts of Badakhshan province.

The anti-Taliban armed group, Afghanistan Freedom Front launched a rocket attack on a Taliban military convoy traveling from Kabul to Badakhshan, killing seven personnel and seriously injuring over six others.

Afghanistan Freedom Front also claimed that its fighters shot down two Taliban military drones in Zebak District.

Former Afghan Vice President Amrullah Saleh said the Taliban regime is not a legitimate government and asserted that political and armed resistance against it would become more organized, ultimately leading to the end of Taliban rule.
