Lt. Gen. (R) Raza Muhammad Khan (Defence Analyst):Pakistan has played a historical role of bridge between US and Iran as Pakistan played such a glorious role between China and the US in the past. Islamabad Accord has provided the world with a sigh of relief from the looming war. Now, all stakeholders will have to show patience regarding implementation of Islamabad Accord because world is not left with any other option except dialogue for peace.  Islamabad Accord will win UN backing soon. Later it will prove as game changer as it will open new avenues for regional economic development based on the development of Gwadar Port, Russian proposed corridor between Pakistan and Europe, Pakistan Iran Gas pipeline project and others.. Thus the MoU will bring huge economic dividends for the entire region. I think that India misused Chabahar Port to hurt China Pakistan Economic Corridor, and Indian role against Iran is exposed to Iran also.

Ghulam Rasool Baloch (Former Diplomat):Pakistan has emerged as global mediator and entire world was looking towards Pakistan to save the world from war.  Thus Pakistan has reshaped the global geo-politics. Iranian President Masoud Pzeshkian’s visit to Pakistan is most historical visit to Pakistan and will lay foundations for future cooperation. Pakistan has laid strong foundation for a concrete platform of peace between Iran and the US. Hopefully, peace treaty will be beneficial for entire region and not confined between the US and Iran. Pakistan and Iran have a lot of natural resources and they will have strong bilateral economic ties and cooperation. Both the countries can boost bilateral cooperation under China Pakistan Economic Corridor, Belt and Road and other global initiatives..
