Acting Afghan Representative at the UN Naseer Ahmad Faiq has described the Taliban regime as terrorist, illegal and anti-people.

Criticizing the Taliban regime on the social media platform X, he rejected the Taliban regime’s claim to a seat at the United Nations. He said representation at the United Nations is a constitutional and legitimate right of those governments that come to power based on the aspirations of their people.

Naseer Ahmad Faiq said the Taliban regime over the last five years has neither addressed the legitimate demands of the Afghan people nor respected the international community.
