The US based Sikh Organizations have urged Secretary of State Marco Rubio to stop RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat from visiting the US.

In a letter to the US Secretary of State, the organizations said the RSS and its affiliates have a long record of violence, discrimination and persecution against religious minorities, including Sikhs, Muslims and Christians.

The letter urged the United States not to grant diplomatic privileges or high-level access to leaders of organizations that harm religious minorities.
