The situation in Indian state of Manipur is becoming increasingly grave with each passing day due to flawed policies of Modi government.

According to Indian newspaper The New Indian Express, protesters pelted stones at the Assam Rifles facility, vandalized the premises and torched three vehicles. It reported that security forces fired tear gas shells to disperse the crowd.

According to The Economic Times, this was the third attack on Assam Rifles in the past ten days.

According to Amnesty International, the BJP government has completely failed to protect human rights and curb violence in Manipur.
