In Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, All Parties Hurriyat Conference has said that the territory continues to reel under India's brutal military occupation, where the rights of the people have been usurped through draconian laws.

In a statement, the APHC spokesman said military operations, house raids, and arbitrary arrests have exacerbated the miseries of the Kashmiri people, turning the territory into a prison.

Meanwhile, India's National Investigation Agency has seized two plots belonging to a Kashmiri resident in Baramulla district of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir under the draconian Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act.

On the other hand, independent observers and civil society activists have welcomed the growing demands for greater accountability of the RSS, saying the organization's expanding network and influence require public scrutiny.

This comes after leaders in the Indian state of Karnataka called for the disclosure of funding sources and the publication of details of office-bearers of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh.

The observers said the RSS, which has thousands of branches across India and an extensive international network, continues to operate without adequate accountability.
