All Parties Hurriyat Conference has urged international human rights organizations to stop the Indian government from confiscating the properties of Kashmiris in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
In a statement, APHC Spokesman, Advocate Abdul Rashid Minhas, said Delhi-controlled agencies are seizing houses, land and business establishments during raids and crackdowns across the territory.
Meanwhile, Indian Army is conducting a large-scale cordon and search operation in Rajouri district, backed by helicopters, drones, sniffer dogs and para commandos.
Despite nearly three weeks of intensive military action, the forces have failed to achieve any significant breakthrough.
In another development, Indian police, during their continued crackdown operations, arrested five youths on different pretexts in Pulwama and Islamabad districts.
On the other hand, an Indian Border Security Force officer named Assistant Sub-Inspector Lal Singh committed suicide in Jammu city of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
He was a resident of the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh.
Additionally, civil society activists have expressed serious concern over systematic attempts by the BJP-led Indian government to undermine the distinct political, cultural, and religious identity of the Kashmiri people.
The activists, in their statements, said measures introduced after August 5, 2019, particularly the revocation of Article 370 and Article 35A, were aimed at weakening the Muslim-majority character and unique identity of the territory.
