In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, civil society has appealed to the United Nations and international rights bodies to take immediate notice of India’s judicial terrorism against Hurriyat leaders and other political detainees.

The activists said the Indian BJP government and its local administration are deliberately prolonging the illegal detention of Kashmiri leaders by implicating them in false cases.

Meanwhile, Congress has launched a five-day march in Jammu, demanding restoration of full statehood to Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

Addressing the launch of campaign, Congress IIOJK President Tariq Hameed Karra said statehood restoration is the democratic and constitutional right of the Kashmiri people.

The march will cover different areas of Jammu district over the next five days.
