Indian agencies have carried out coordinated raids at multiple locations across Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

Counter Intelligence Kashmir conducted searches at several locations in Shopian and Kulgam districts of South Kashmir.

In a separate operation, the State Investigation Agency raided five houses in the Jammu region, including four in Poonch and one in Udhampur.

During the raids, mobile telephones and other material were seized and sent for forensic examination.

Rights groups say such operations are routinely used to target political dissent and intimidate Kashmiri families, while thousands remain detained under draconian laws without a fair trial.
