
Important briefings on Balochistan’s socio-economic sectors, minerals and mining and law and order were held at the Chief Minister’s Secretariat in Balochistan.
According to a briefing by the Ministry of Planning and Development, Balochistan government's key strategy for the socio-economic development of the province was discussed in detail.
The briefing highlighted measures related to governance, service delivery, effective utilization of funds, and ensuring that the benefits of development projects reach the people.
In another briefing, participants were briefed on the potential of Balochistan’s minerals and mining sector and the details of ongoing projects. It was informed that various measures are being taken to develop the mineral sector and ensure that the people of Balochistan benefit from the province’s mineral resources.
The Home and Tribal Affairs Department gave a detailed briefing on measures being taken to improve the law and order situation in the province. It covered the Provincial Action Plan, police reforms, and, in particular, the integration of the Levies Force into the police force.
On the occasion, the Balochistan Chief Minister responded to numerous questions raised by the participants and shared his views on various matters with regards to different sectors.
