Pakistan-Turkiye Friendship Week: Int’l Conference, exhibition organized at AIOU

An international conference, photo exhibition and cultural program, in connection with Pakistan-Turkiye Friendship Week, were organized at Allama Iqbal Open University in Islamabad today.

The events were jointly organized by Allama Iqbal Open University and the Yunus Emre Institute, Islamabad.

Parliamentary Secretary of Federal Education and Professional Training, Farah Naz Akbar, was the chief guest on the occasion.

Addressing the conference, Farah Naz said the relations between Pakistan and Turkiye are rooted in faith, affection and shared history. She said no distance or era can weaken the brotherly ties between the two nations.

The Parliamentary Secretary of Federal Education and Professional Training said both Pakistan and Turkiye have always stood shoulder to shoulder in times of natural disasters and global challenges, promoting peace, progress and mutual respect.

She said the celebration of Pakistan-Turkiye Friendship Week reflects Pakistan's renewed commitment to further strengthening these bonds for generations to come.

The other speakers in their speeches shed light on the historic and time-tested friendship between Pakistan and Turkiye, emphasizing the need to further enhance cultural exchanges and people-to-people contacts between the two countries.

Earlier, the Parliamentary Secretary cut the ribbon and inaugurated a photo exhibition and the Pakistan-Turkiye Friendship Forum titled "Dost".
