World Handicrafts Day is being observed today (Wednesday).

The day is aimed at highlighting the traditional artistry, recognize the economic importance of handmade goods, and honor the artisans who preserve cultural heritage. 

Pakistan Post has announced the issuance of a special series of commemorative postage stamps celebrating Blue Pottery in observance of World Handicrafts Day.

The issuance recognizes the invaluable contribution of artisans who have preserved and promoted Blue Pottery across generations.
