Minister for Railways Muhammad Hanif Abassi says work on laying of 480 Kilometer railway track from Karachi to Rohri will be started next year.

He was talking to Sindh Governor Muhammad Nihal Hashmi at a meeting in Karachi today.

The Minister said Pakistan Railways will soon start transporting of fuel, automobiles, minerals and LPG.

He said eleven thousand tons of coal is being transported daily from Thar to power houses through Pakistan Railways.
