Minister for Railways Muhammad Hanif Abbasi and Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah have agreed to modernize the railway system in Sindh.

The agreement was reached during a meeting in Karachi today.

They agreed to restore branch railway routes and improve facilities for passengers.

Minister for Railways Muhammad Hanif Abbasi said that the Mohenjo Daro Express will be launched in the next month.

He said the federal government is taking practical steps to make Pakistan Railways modern, safe and people-friendly.

The Sindh Chief Minister assured full provincial support for improving railway infrastructure and removing encroachments from railway land.
