Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has directed the authorities concerned to launch country's first provincial airline "Air Punjab".

Charring a meeting on Pakistan's first provincial airline and first bullet train projects in Lahore on Saturday, she also gave in-principle approval to start Lahore-Rawalpindi bullet train project.

Maryam Nawaz directed to get four airbuses for the Air Punjab airline on lease. She said initially Air Punjab will start domestic flights and foreign flights will be started after one year.

She also reviewed Lahore Yellow Line and Mass Transit Line Gujranwala projects.

The Chief Minister was also briefed in detail about the e-taxi project.
