Minister for Kashmir Affairs and Gilgit-Baltistan Amir Muqam says the federal government has approved five Daanish Schools for Azad Jammu and Kashmir, along with the continued provision of subsidized wheat and sugar.

He was addressing a PML-N public gathering in Khari Sharif, Mirpur.

The Minister expressed the government's commitment to advancing the proposed Mansehra-Muzaffarabad-Mirpur Expressway project and said work on the Haryam Bridge has resumed.

He said extending natural gas facilities to the region also remained a priority.

He stressed that the Kashmir cause should remain above political differences.
