The U.S. Commission on International Religious Freedom has called for a ban on the RSS over its involvement in attacks on minorities in India.

Chairman of the U.S. Commission on International Religious Freedom, Dr. Asif Mahmood, said extremist groups have carried out attacks on Indian minorities, including Muslims, at the behest of the extremist Modi government.

According to TRT World several international organizations, including Human Rights Watch and Amnesty International, have also pointed out state abuses against Muslims in India.
