Punjab Human Rights and Minorities Affairs Department has announced the Cinemato Competition 2026 to promote interfaith harmony, cultural diversity, and highlight the contributions of minority communities.

Filmmakers, content creators, and the public can submit documentaries and short video reels on themes including “One Nation, Diverse Identities”, “Unsung Heroes” and “Stories Passed Through Generations” by the first of next month.

Documentaries should be three to five minutes long, while reels should not exceed one minute. Winners will receive cash prizes of one hundred thousand, seventy-five thousand, and fifty thousand rupees for the first, second, and third positions, respectively.
