The fifth death anniversary of Pakistani actress Naila Jaffri is being observed today.

She was born on 27 January 1965 in Islamabad.

Naila started acting on PTV in the 1980s and also did theatre.

She worked in many dramas including Ek Mohabat Sau Afsaney, Sanam Gazida, Mujh ko Satana, Desi Girls, Noorpur Ki Rani and Thodi Si Khushiyan.

Her last appearance was in Dushman which was broadcast posthumously on PTV.

She died of cancer in Karachi on this day in 2021.
