In an interview with Radio Pakistan’s Correspondent Qasim Bukhari, he said that the primary objective of PLRA is to replace the traditional Patwari system with a modern, computerized land record management system, enabling citizens to easily access services such as ownership verification, issuance of Fard and property transfer.

He informed that PLRA has also launched special facilities for overseas Pakistanis to conveniently access land-related services pertaining to the province of Punjab. Mohsin Tanveer said that Pakistanis residing in London can now visit the Pakistani Consulate to avail themselves of services related to their lands in Punjab.

He informed that similar services will soon be extended to Pakistani communities residing in Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Bahrain, United States, Spain and Italy.
