Brig. (R) Amjad Malik (Defence Analyst): Operation Shaban has been launched to counter Indian-Afghanistan backed terrorism in Balochistan. Our brave armed forces are in very high spirits to eliminate terrorism from our motherland. Actually, India and Afghanistan are openly financing, funding and supporting terrorism in Pakistani provinces as well as exporting to the other countries of the world. Presently, India is using Afghan soil and terrorist groups to target Pakistan just to derail development process launched by the government for the welfare of the Baloch people. Our civil military leadership believes in public participation in political process which is backbone of the provincial prosperity and progress. We need to have to hold talks with general people about resolution of provincial issues but government needs to deal terrorists with iron hands. Geographically, Balochistan is an easy target of Indian sponsored terrorism. However, situation on the ground will improve in coming days.
