Dr. Zahid Anwar Khan (IR Expert):  Kashmir and Palestine are two long outstanding and unresolved disputes which are gripping two regions South Asia and Middle East.  Today, Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar has rightly raised these issues with candidate for UN Secretary General Ms. Michelle Bachelet Jeria because responsibility of all UN members and resolve these issues. Factually, India and Israel have been violating UN resolutions on Kashmir and Palestine issues, but international community has been showing double standards towards both India and Israel. It is important aspect that UN was created after WWII but now global geopolitical landscape has changed completely. Therefore permanent members are must focus on resolution of all outstanding and unresolved disputes. Therefore, DPM Dar has said that UN must fulfill its responsibilities and resolve issues so that world may become peaceful and stable.
