In Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the Indian army and paramilitary forces continue to subject Kashmiris to severe atrocities for demanding their right to self-determination.

A report released by Kashmir Media Service said the Indian army's brutal face is exposed through daily extrajudicial killings, fake encounters, rapes, molestations, looting, house demolitions, torture, and harassment.

The report highlights that India has deployed over one million forces' personnel in the occupied territory to maintain its illegal occupation.

Operating with complete impunity, Indian forces have martyred 96,481 Kashmiris since January 1989, and over 450,000 have been martyred since 1947.

All Parties Hurriyat Conference spokesperson Advocate Abdul Rashid Minhas, in a statement in Srinagar, has criticized the BJP-led Indian government and its appointed Lieutenant Governor in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir for systematically making life unbearable for the Kashmiris through draconian laws.

A Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front delegation led by Prof Zafar Khan met with Chairman of All Party Parliamentary Group on Kashmir Imran Hussain in the UK, urging him to raise Muhammad Yasin Malik's case with the British Government.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the delegation apprised him of the deteriorating human rights situation in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, expressing gratitude for his support for the Kashmir cause.

In Brussels, another JKLF delegation led by Zaheer Zahid submitted memos to the United Nations, European Union Human Rights Commission and Amnesty International, appealing for intervention to save Yasin Malik's life.

The submitted memorandums entailed the brief history of Yasin Malik, fake cases filed against him and the unjust Indian court proceedings.
