In Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the All Parties Hurriyat Conference has urged the international community to impress upon India to give the Kashmiri people their right to self-determination.

In a statement, the APHC spokesman said that India has been treating the occupied territory as its colony since 27 October 1947, when it forcibly landed its troops in Srinagar.

The APHC spokesman said that India has miserably failed to suppress the freedom sentiments of Kashmiris and is now resorting to brutalities and black laws to silence them.

He said that the inclusion of non-Kashmiri Hindus in voter lists is yet another step to advance India's dangerous plan of demographic change in the territory.
