The All Parties Hurriyat Conference has said that India's repressive policies have failed to suppress the freedom aspirations of Kashmiris in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK).
According to Kashmir Media Service, APHC spokesman Advocate Abdul Rashid Minhas said Indian forces and investigative agencies are committing human rights violations through cordon-and-search operations and house raids.
The spokesman urged New Delhi to abandon its rigid policies and pursue a peaceful settlement of the Kashmir dispute in line with United Nations resolutions.
The APHC spokesman called for the release of all illegally detained Hurriyat leaders and activists, including APHC Chairman Masarrat Aalam Butt, Shabbir Ahmed Shah and Muhammad Yasin Malik.
