Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar has expressed pride in Pakistan's unique contribution to the FIFA World Cup 2026.

In a post on his X handle, he said, as the FIFA World Cup 2026 commences in Mexico, the United States and Canada, Pakistan takes pride in playing its part in this global celebration of sports.

He said the official match ball, the Adidas Trionda, crafted in Sialkot through the skill, precision and craftsmanship of Pakistani workers, will feature in every match.

He said Pakistan may not be among the competing teams, but a piece of Pakistan will be present in every pass, every save and every goal.

Ishaq Dar paid tribute to the country's skilled and semi-skilled workers, whose excellence continues to earn Pakistan global recognition.
