FIFA World Cup: Mexico beat South Africa by 2-0 goals

In the FIFA World Cup inaugural match, Mexico beat South Africa by 2-0 in Mexico City.

This marks the first time in FIFA World Cup history that three countries the United States, Mexico and Canada are jointly hosting the tournament.

A total of 104 matches will be played during the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

The matches will be held across 11 cities in the United States, three cities in Mexico and two cities in Canada.

The World Cup will continue until 19th July.
