Dr. Muhammad Khan (IR Expert): Yemen and Saudi Arabia both are Muslim countries and Pakistan has always advocated for the unity among Muslim countries. Even in 2015, Pakistan pressed on all Muslim countries to avoid using force against Yemen. Pakistan also played mediatory role in the war between Ira and Iraq and refused take side with any country in the war. Even today, Pakistan is playing such a role to unite Muslim Ummah and wants to resolve issues between the Muslim brother countries peacefully. Pakistani Permanent Representative to the UN Asim Iftikhar Ahmad has also talked about unity among the Muslim countries and resolve issues peacefully because confrontation will weaken Muslim countries. So, Pakistan is sending message to Yemen, Saudi Arabia and other Muslim countries to hold talks to keep the unity of Muslim countries intact. As per defence pact between Saudi Arabia, Pakistan and Turkiye, attack on one country is considered as attack on all three countries. However, we need to understand reason behind the attacks on Saudi Arabia because issues between the Yemen and Saudi Arabia had been resolved. In this regard, we need to look into the spoiler mentality of Israel because Israel wants to spoil Makkah Agreement by putting Muslim countries into war against each other. Actually, Makkah Agreement is meant to unite Muslim Ummah, Till today, Pakistan has played great role to avert war among Muslim countries. Pakistan also averted war between Iran and Gulf countries. Israel wants to drag Pakistan into war between Yemen and Saudi Arabia; however, Pakistan is trying to de-escalate the situation. Israel is backing Yemen to expand war over to entire region. 

Dr. Manzoor Khan Afridi (IR Expert): Makkah Agreement between Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and Turkiye is an important development to ensure regional peace and stability. Pakistan has been playing vital role on both diplomatic and strategic fronts. Pakistan has very cordial and close partnership with Saudi Arabia. With the passage of each day, this relationship and strategic partnership between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia is getting stronger and stronger. Turkiye and Pakistan have also very strong relationship and we witness upward trajectory in the cordiality of bilateral ties during the current governments of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. I think that partnership between Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and Turkiye will ensure peace and stability in both Middle East and South Asian regions. Pakistan’s international stature has gone higher in the world due to diplomatic peace efforts as Pakistan brought both the warring countries US and Iran to negotiation table and won a ceasefire deal. In this regard, Pakistan struggled a lot and hosted a number of rounds of talks. Pakistan’s role as international mediator has been appreciated across the world. On the other hand Indian diplomatic isolation also gone higher and higher due to irrational and irresponsible diplomatic blunders committed by Indian fanatic leadership. International world totally rejected Indian false and wrong diplomacy. Moreover, Pakistan, Afghanistan and China also held regular meetings on the issue of countering cross-border terrorism, regional peace and stability. Actually, Middle East is a very fragile region where we have seen a number of coups after Arab spring. The US and Iran tensions have also gripped over the region. Saudi Arabia and Turkiye are important players in Middle East. Pakistan is the best option for Middle East as security guarantor. Now we are seeing making and breaking the alliances and new blocs on international scene.
