One-Day Literary Book Festival 2022 began in Islamabad on Wednesday.

Secretary Information and Broadcasting Shahera Shahid inaugurated the Adabi Kitab Mela.

Speaking on the occasion, she emphasized on promoting book reading culture in the country. She said book reading is the best way to connect with the past.

She said that Radio Pakistan and Pakistan Television are going to present special programmes on the importance of book reading.
