In Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the Indian forces continued their massive cordon and search operation in Shopian and Rajouri districts.

Meanwhile, the infamous National Investigation Agency has indicted six Hurriyat leaders, including the martyred Syed Ali Gilani, in a three-decade-old fabricated case.

The chargesheet was filed before the NIA Special Court in Jammu, invoking the provisions of the draconian Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA).

Shabbir Ahmad Shah, late Abdul Ghani Lone, Mohammad Yaqoob Wakeel, Javed Ahmad Mir, and Shakeel Ahmad Bakhshi have also been named in the chargesheet.

On the other hand, the All Parties Hurriyat Conference has urged people in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir to observe a shutdown on Monday to commemorate the martyrdom anniversary of 22 Kashmiris who were killed by Dogra armed forces in Central Jail, Srinagar, on 13th July 1931.

These martyrs were among thousands of people who had assembled outside the jail during the court proceedings against Abdul Qadeer who had asked the people to defy the Dogra rule.

In a statement, APHC spokesman Abdul Rashid Minhas appealed to the freedom-loving Kashmiri people to march towards Mazar-e-Shuhada, Srinagar, to pay tribute to the martyrs.
