Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has expressed deep grief and sorrow over the tragic loss of lives and property caused by the recent devastating storms, tornadoes, landslides and heavy rains in the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, Hubei and Gansu provinces of China.

In a post on X handle, he extended heartfelt condolences to President Xi Jinping, the Government and the people of China, especially the bereaved families.

He said Pakistan stands in solidarity with Chinese brothers and sisters during this difficult time and pray for the swift recovery of the injured and the success of ongoing rescue efforts.
