Acting President Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani today inaugurated the Founders’ Wall at the Islamabad Stock Exchange (ISE) Towers Limited, paying tribute to the pioneers who laid the foundations of the institution.

Speaking on the occasion, he highlighted three priorities for strengthening the capital market: promoting financial participation through financial literacy programmes, encouraging family-owned businesses and mid-sized enterprises to list on the exchange and maintaining policy stability supported by sound macroeconomic fundamentals and long-term structural reforms.

The Acting President said Parliament remains a committed partner in the country’s economic journey and continues to exercise oversight to refine capital market legislation, enhance regulatory frameworks under the SECP and safeguard investor interests.
