The fourth meeting of the Capital Market Development Council was held in Islamabad today with Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb in the chair.

The Council reviewed progress on the reform agenda and implementation of decisions taken at its previous meeting, noting important developments in corporate debt issuance, listing facilitation, secondary-market trading and institutional investor engagement.

The Finance Minister appreciated the progress achieved by the relevant institutions and emphasized the need to build on this momentum through coordinated and time-bound implementation.
