A report providing insights into Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) narratives has been released at the Asia-Pacific Media Forum held in Shenzhen, in South China's Guangdong Province.

The report titled "Sharing Inspiring Asia-Pacific Stories, Contributing China's Constructive Solutions -- Insights into APEC Narratives Based on the Asia-Pacific Communication Index" has been compiled by the Xinhua Communication Effectiveness Evaluation Index System. Chinese and English versions of the report have been released.

According to Xinhua News Agency, the report is based on multilingual data resources and intelligent research and analysis technologies of the Xinhua Communication Effectiveness Evaluation Index System.

The report says a quantitative assessment system based on four dimensions including communication heat, communication breadth, communication depth and communication attitude has been established to assess the communication effect of the APEC concept across the region.
