
Canadian government has warned its citizens against travelling to Afghanistan, citing an extremely unstable and dangerous security situation.
In a travel advisory, Canada urged its citizens in Afghanistan to move to safer locations and review their security arrangements.
It warned of serious risks of kidnapping, terrorism and arbitrary detention by the Taliban regime, while terrorist attacks could occur anywhere in the country, including Kabul.
The advisory said terrorist groups remain active in Afghanistan and can target foreigners, journalists and other civilians.
