The All Parties Hurriyat Conference has called for an international investigation into cases registered against Chairman of the Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front, Muhammad Yasin Malik.

According to Kashmir Media Service, APHC spokesman Advocate Abdul Rashid Minhas said in a statement issued in Srinagar that Yasin Malik, who has been incarcerated in Tihar Jail since 2019, is facing fresh prosecution 36 years after the alleged incident.

He said this exposes the political motives behind the case.

He said that being named an accused after so many years raises serious questions about the timing, credibility, and purpose of the prosecution.
