In Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Indian forces, in their unabated acts of state terrorism, have martyred 1,069 Kashmiris during the last seven years since the illegal abrogation of special status in August 2019.
According to data issued by the Research Section of Kashmir Media Service, the Indian Army, Rashtriya Rifles, Central Reserve Police Force, Special Operations Group and other agencies arrested 37,783 civilians during multiple cordon and search operations and house raids.
At least 2,708 people were injured after Indian forces used brute force, tear gas shells, bullets and pellets against peaceful protesters.
In the first eight months of this year alone, 21 Kashmiris have been martyred.
