Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has said the standard of stroke care in province will be significantly improved.

In a statement, she praised the team of the Neurology Department of Service Hospital Lahore for receiving the prestigious international Diamond Award in recognition of its meritorious services in stroke care.

The Chief Minister said the award is an acknowledgement of saving thousands of lives through timely treatment and modern healthcare facilities.

She said the government will continue its mission to provide the best possible healthcare facilities to stroke patients across the province.
