All Parties Hurriyet Conference (APHC) has strongly condemned Indian authorities' closure of the historic Jamia Masjid and Eidgah of Srinagar for Eid prayers.

In a statement in Srinagar, APHC Spokesman said this step of India is extremely painful and a blatant interference in the religious matters of Muslims.

Meanwhile, illegally jailed Chairman of All Parties Hurriyat Conference Masarrat Aalam Butt and senior APHC leader Nayeem Ahmed Khan have extended Eid greetings to the people of occupied Jammu and Kashmir and the world over on Eid-ul-Fitr.

According to Kashmir Media Service today, they urged people to pray for the release of illegally detained Kashmiri political leaders and youth, who are subjected to ill-treatment in Indian jails.

They said that the Kashmiri and Palestinian people are creating an unparalleled history of sacrifices, and these great sacrifices will never be in vain.
