All Parties Hurriyat Conference says BJP government is trying to mislead the world by staging parliamentary election drama in Indian illegally in occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

In a statement in Srinagar, APHC spokesman said New Delhi is using farcical elections as a smokescreen to create a false impression of normalcy in the territory.

He said with deployment of over one million troops, IIOJK has become world’s largest militarized zone where civilians are being treated as enemies.

Meanwhile, Kashmiri people are suffering immensely as Indian troops continue violent cordon and search operations and house raids in various areas.

On the other hand, under the draconian Public Safety Act, High Court of IIOJK has quashed fourth detention order in a row against former spokesperson of the banned Jamaat-e-Islami, Advocate Zahid Ali.

The court has termed the detention as mala fide and illegal.
