In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, illegally detained senior APHC leader and Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Democratic Freedom Party, Shabbir Ahmed Shah, has praised the resilience and determination of the Kashmiri people, asserting that their sacrifices for freedom would not go in vain.

Shabbir Ahmad Shah, in an Eid message from New Delhi's Tihar jail, reaffirmed the commitment of the Kashmiri people Hurriyat leadership to continue to pursue the legitimate aspirations for freedom and self-determination despite the challenges.

Expressing concern over the ongoing violence in Palestine and Kashmir, Shabbir Ahmad Shah extended his greetings to Muslims worldwide, particularly those affected by alien occupation and oppression.

He urged well-off people to assist the poor, needy, and orphans on the gracious occasion of Eidul Fitr.

In a separate statement, the All Parties Hurriyat Conference spokesman Advocate Abdul Rashid Minhas strongly condemned the ongoing deceitful tactics employed by the Indian occupation forces in occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

He cautioned that the Indian regime could stage a drama to defame the freedom movement and project false narratives on Kashmir ahead of the Indian Lok Sabha election. The spokesman condemned the intensified cordon and search operations and crackdowns in the occupied territory.

President of the Peoples Democratic Party, Mehbooba Mufti, speaking to media persons in Srinagar, said the Modi regime is targeting her party for opposing oppression post Article 370's abrogation.
