All branches of commercial banks will observe extended working hours until 10:00 PM today to facilitate taxpayers in making over-the-counter payment of government duties and taxes.

The step has been taken on the advice of the State Bank of Pakistan.

The banks have also been advised to ensure uninterrupted availability of their online payment channels to facilitate taxpayers in online payment of government duties and taxes.
