Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif say he held a very warm and most productive meeting with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on the sidelines of the SCO Summit in Tianjin.

In a post on social media platform X, he said that they reviewed the growing momentum in Pakistan-Turkiye ties, discussed regional and global developments, and reaffirmed their shared commitment to stand united for Palestine and work together for peace, stability and prosperity in the region and beyond.

Shehbaz Sharif also expressed his gratitude to President Erdogan for his concern and solidarity with Pakistan in the wake of the recent catastrophic floods.
